Night Game 2

5 x 7, oil on linen
mounted to wood
(ready to hang or frame)
$75.00

This painting is more than a little based on probably the greatest place on earth to watch or play in a high school football game. The Elder Pit. The sky is always purple there. When you enter the Pit, you enter another dimension that is real and pure and it embraces all that sport is meant to be. And if you happen to be a player from an opposing team, buckle your chin strap before you get off the bus, and keep it buckled until you return.
